ABOUT EDUCATION
A new exclusive hairdressing course is now starting in central Gävle. With highly qualified teachers trained in Pivot Point and Hairology’s educational concept
The training is aimed at you who want the best conditions for your future professional life in an exciting hairdressing industry
We offer you an industry training approved by Sweden’s Hairdressing Entrepreneurs which, after passing the journeyman’s exam, leads to your hairdressing licence.
Our goal is to make it possible for you to take the industry-approved Swedish journeyman exam, be able to handle the Swedish language and follow vocationally technical Swedish instructions.
The training lasts for 10 months and you study daily at the school to obtain as much competence as possible from our specially trained teachers.
We will work together in Pivot Point’s digital platform LAB – Learn About Beauty, which is a world-leading educational concept. You get private login codes to this fantastic system and can thus acquire as much knowledge as you want even outside of school hours.
During your training, you will also be out at hairdressing companies and practice your skills and acquire the future contacts you need for your future professional life. Teachers will visit you at your workplace and monitor your training.
THE COURSE COST
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE COURSE COST
Being a hairdresser is a very exciting and creative profession. In order for you to be able to cope and feel good, we offer you to train at Actic and the cost is included in the registration fee
You get 3 cutting heads from us as well as scissors, brushes, combs, etc., everything you need to train to become a good hairdresser. Best of all, you keep the material when you finish the training. The cost of this student kit amounts to SEK 6,000 and is included in the registration fee
You will also receive training from external teachers in order to take part in the latest trends and techniques from the industry
The partial exam after the training at the school is paid for by us. After 2,000 hours of completed training at a salon, you have the opportunity, according to the hairdressing industry’s agreement, to take the journeyman exam. You have a contractual salary during the final training at the salon
We will make study visits in Stockholm to Pivot Point, Hårologi as well as Goldwell and Wella to broaden your knowledge
You will be trained Hairologist with a diploma after learning more about hair and its properties. You also receive an international diploma from Pivot Point after completing the training
